New England Electrical Sales

About Us
A Legacy of Excellence: A Representative Firm in New England

Founding and Early Years

New England Electrical Sales (NEES) was established in the heart of New England in 1990, founded by Steve Langelier who has a clear vision. His goal was clear: to bridge the gap between manufacturers and customers by representing top-quality products and providing exceptional service. NEES focused on building strong relationships with manufacturers, earning their trust to exclusively represent their products in the New England market. This commitment to trustworthiness and quality laid the foundation for the firm's future success.

Expansion and Client-Centric Approach

As the years went by, the firm expanded its operations across the New England states. With an unwavering focus on client satisfaction, we have built a reputation for going above and beyond to meet the unique needs of our customers in the electrical supply business.

The firm's dedication to its clients was exemplified by its commitment to understanding the technical nuances of the products it represented. This in-depth knowledge allowed it to provide invaluable technical support to customers, which is why industry leaders like Broan NuTone have been partners with NEES for many years.

Embracing Technology and Expertise

In an industry where technical expertise is paramount, the firm invested in the ongoing training and development of its team. As a result, the firm's employees became trusted advisors to its clients, offering valuable insights and solutions. We focus on building customers, not just winning an order.

The Present and Future

Today, NEES stands as a cornerstone in the New England electrical marketplace given the reputation that has been built by the Langelier family. With an extensive network of exclusive manufacturer partnerships, a dedicated and knowledgeable team, and a focus on innovation, it continues to cater to the diverse needs of its clients.

In September of 2023, NEES was acquired by The Liberty Group who is a mid-market operating company that owns several companies in the Northeast including Liberty Electric Products which is based in Syracuse, NY. This combination gives NEES a tremendous number of additional resources so that the firm can remain committed to delivering excellence in the New England market.
